The Practice
Welcome! I'm Dr. Jennifer Newman-Gaewsky, a Board-Certified Psychiatrist dedicated to providing compassionate and comprehensive mental health care here in Nashville. My practice focuses on supporting individuals across the lifespan – from children and adolescents navigating developmental challenges, to adults managing life stressors and transitions, and specializing in the unique needs of the perinatal period (pregnancy and postpartum).
I offer both in person visits in Nashville (Green Hills) and on telehealth throughout Tennessee. By request, I also offer specialized in-home services to those who prefer to be seen in the comfort of their own home.
I believe in a collaborative, personalized approach to mental wellness, creating a safe, understanding space where you or your child can explore challenges and foster meaningful change. I integrate evidence-based medication management with tailored therapeutic interventions and bring specialized expertise across all life stages—from childhood and adolescence through adulthood, including pregnancy and postpartum.
Taking the first step towards seeking support takes courage, and I look forward to the possibility of partnering with you on your journey towards improved mental health and well-being. Please feel free to reach out to learn more or schedule an initial psychiatric evaluation.

Payment Model
To provide the most attentive and flexible care possible, this practice operates under a fee-for-service model and is considered out-of-network with insurance plans. This model allows for greater flexibility in tailoring treatment, enhanced privacy, longer appointments, and a direct therapeutic relationship without the limitations often imposed by insurance companies. This also allows for more personalized care without external constraints. Many plans have generous out of network benefits and we are happy to provide you with documentation needed for you to pursue reimbursement through any out-of-network benefits that your insurance plan may offer. We accept major credit cards, FSA, and HSA cards as a form of payment.
